Rhythm Box

PlanToys Rhythm Box has been inspired by the Cajon hand drumming box from Peru. The instrument challenges kids to use all fingers while playing, coming up with different rhytmics and tempos. The sound is pleasant, and different on both sides.

The company uses rubber trees from private plantations in its products. Most rubber tree plantations are destroyed by burning after the trees have stopped producing latex. PlanToys has chosen a more sustainable way and recycles the trees in its own production.

– Instead of poisoning, the wood is treated with heat to remove impurities (e.g. insects).

– The glue is non-toxic (E-Zero Non-Formaldehyde Glue) and all colors are plant dyes or water-based non-toxic ink.

– All products undergo strict quality control and meet international standards (ASTM, EN71, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SA 8000)
