The reflective stickers from Reflective Berlin can be easily stuck on textiles like backpacks, jackets and shoes. No ironing or sewing is necessary, the stickers are simply removed from packaging and glued on. The unique material composition makes the product a universal all-rounder for all areas of application.
This makes it easy to make sure your everyday and sportswear is safe and visible in the dark. The flexible fabric structure ensures that it adapts easily to soft material surfaces and follows movements. The patented adhesive film adheres not only to smooth but also to rough textile surface material and is therefore equally suitable for outdoor clothing and accessories.
Reflective Berlin textile stickers consist of three layers. The reflective top layer of 3M Scotchlite consists of tiny glass beads, which in turn are processed on a flexible fabric. This in turn is laminated with a PSA adhesive film, which adheres strongly to both textile and hard surfaces.
The degree of retroreflection is at least 300 cd/lux-m2, depending on the color. This means that the stickers are clearly visible from a long distance. The rainbow-reflective variant does not have quite as high luminosity as the monochrome variants.
Application:
The textile stickers are simply glued on. The surface you′re gonna place the sticker on should be dry, and free of grease and dust. Remove the sticker from the backing paper and then press firmly onto where you want it. For good adhesive strength, it is also recommended to apply the stickers at at least 18°C.
The stickers can be easily removed by mechanical peeling. Re-gluing after removing is no longer possible due to the reduced adhesive strength. After prolonged use, adhesive residues on the surface are possible.
Care:
A large number of wash tests with a wide variety of clothing and fabric types have consistently produced positive results and good adhesion even after several washes (at 40 °C).
How often the stickers survive washing machine cycles depends on several factors, especially the surface material of the clothes and the washing program. Coated (functional) materials (e.g. water-repellent outerwear) prevent an optimal bond between fabric and adhesive, so that the stickers can fall off. Strong spin and heat in the dryer will also negatively affect the adhesion of the stickers.
