Hybrid Train

PlanToys Hybrid Train is a great addition to your toy city. All PlanToys trains fit both the brand′s own Rubber Road & Rail Sets and most other train tracks. The train beautifully combines two different wood materials: colorful PlanWood and solid light rubber wood. PlanWood is manufactured by utilising the rubber wood material left over from production. The ground mixture is dyed with non-toxic plant dyes, after which it′s pressed with a mold until solid. The train carriages are stuck together with magnets.

The company uses rubber trees from private plantations in its products. Most rubber tree plantations are destroyed by burning after the trees have stopped producing latex. PlanToys has chosen a more sustainable way and recycles the trees in its own production.
PlanToys safety:
– Instead of poisoning, the wood is treated with heat to remove impurities (e.g. insects).

– The glue is non-toxic (E-Zero Non-Formaldehyde Glue) and all colors are plant dyes or water-based non-toxic ink.
